How is your project or programme performing? When you’re in the thick of it, it’s hard to look objectively and see new opportunities. With our project and programme evaluation service, we can assess at every stage of the lifecycle or upon completion.

We always give you a technically solid and robust evaluation, but we also look for new perspectives, new approaches, and new meanings. Our ultimate goal is to give you a complete and thoughtful picture of your organisation, project or programme.

You might know these evaluations by other names, but essentially a formative evaluation examines the process while summative reflects on the final impact.

Formative evaluations allow you to learn as you go. This means you can alter your direction and potentially improve your results . Summative evaluations review the project at its end, identifying the difference it made.

We can do both, one or the other, depending on your goals. Wherever possible, we advise you to combine the two so you can learn and improve throughout the lifecycle – thereby maximising your impact. Using mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) we can provide a rounded picture of what is happening and why, which you can use to inform your future decisions .

We might be a small team, but we can handle anything you throw at us. We really excel in evaluating large, complex evaluations across multiple sites. Working closely with your stakeholders, volunteers and service users, we can evaluate each site individually and the programme as a whole.
